The hospital Fliedner Krankenhaus Neunkirchen is one of the hospitals that forms the Diakonie Kliniken Saarland. Together with two other hospitals in the Saarland region, namely Evangelisches Stadtkrankenhaus Saarbrücken and Diakonie Klinikum Neunkirchen gGmbH, Fliedner Krankenhaus Neunkirchen is a part of the division Hospitals and Hospices of Stiftung kreuznacher diakonie.
It has three specialty departments: Internal medicine and intensive care, diabetology and endocrinology, as well as psychiatry and psychotherapy. Our hospital is equipped with a total of 145 beds and 23 places where medical care can be provided to patients during the day.
The psychiatry and psychotherapy department is the hospital’s largest area. In our day-hospital and our day care center Café Theodor, patients with mental disorders are not only provided with inpatient treatment, but also receive support with their daily routines, including meeting places for social interactions and outpatient support. In collaboration with the team for internal medicine, elderly and dementia patients receive the best possible care.
It is imperative that each patient be treated using a holistic approach with individualized care and attention.
We have a school for professionals in the healthcare and nursing sectors that is located at the nearby hospital Diakonie Klinikum Neunkirchen gGmbH. Fliedner Krankenhaus provides 30 training places, and we welcome everyone, who can see him/herself working in the healthcare and nursing sectors. Our physicians are authorized to provide advanced and diverse training opportunities during a practical year and/or completion of specialist medical training while in our clinic.
