Diakonie Klinikum Neunkirchen gGmbH

The hospital Diakonie Klinikum Neunkirchen gGmbH has formed from what used to be the city hospital Städtisches Klinikum Neunkirchen gGmbH. It is widely known for the medical care that it provides the local population. The hospital offers a wide variety of medical services, accommodating ten specialty departments, two units for hospital-affiliated physicians, several doctor’s offices and a medical care center.
Many of our specialty departments provide patients with therapeutic and diagnostic possibilities that are unique in this region. The interdisciplinary collaboration that our specialists provide is highly beneficial to our patients.
The clinic focuses on the treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus, vascular medical care, and emergency care for all specialty units, specifically for stroke patients. In regards to accident and orthopedic surgery, the endoprosthetics department is particularly well equipped. The general surgery department combines the entire surgical spectrum, focusing especially on hernias and oncological surgery.
Our hospital Diakonie Klinikum Neunkirchen gGmbH is known for its high-quality medical care and nursing services as well as its attentiveness towards patients. We provide excellent care for the people entrusted to us.
Our goal is to offer all patients a place of impeccable care while utilizing an honest and open approach during recovery.
We also have a vocational school for professionals in the healthcare and nursing sectors, and we welcome everyone, who can see him/herself working in those areas. Our physicians are authorized to provide advanced training, while offering you diverse possibilities to complete a practical year or even your specialist medical training in our clinic. In collaboration with Gemeinschaft Neunkircher Vertragsärzte GbR (GENEVA), a medical network of 65 doctors in Neunkirchen and surrounding areas, we offer a concept for cross-sector advanced training within the network, for both the ambulatory and the stationary sectors. See “Career” for more information.
